Manincor Mason Pinot nero 2017

The Pinot Noir vineyards of Manincor are located in a truly unique position on four, a plateau at 400-450 m asl facing south, where the sun is constantly present and the vines are kept healthy by a constant breeze. The soil is sandy with the presence of detritus of different origins: dolomite, porphyry, gneiss and granite whose grain varies from grains of rice to stones the size of a fist. Maceration lasts for two weeks, with fulling once a day. The wine is aged in wood for 12 months in barrique, with a presence of only 10% of new wood; the wine has been in contact with fine yeasts for the whole time.
