The Conterno's are a family of Viticulturists active in Monforte d'Alba since 1800, Roberto is the current descendant who takes care of the 17 hectares of vineyards owned by the family, 14 of which are located in Serralunga d'Alba in the Cru "Francia" plot purchased in 1974 by Giacomo Conterno from which come Barbera and Barolo "Francia" and the mythological "Monfortino", considered one of the best red wines in the world, produced only in exceptional vintages.
