The winery was founded in 1608, when Hieronymus received this land around the lake of Kaltern for its merits. After various changes over the centuries, in 1978 the winery was acquired by the Enzemberg counts and in 1990 it moved from selling only grapes to bottling.
The vineyards cover 50 hectares divided into seven plots located in very different positions that allow the production of a wide range of products with different characteristics, from easy-drinking and immediate labels to bottles of great importance produced in exceptional vintages from the historic vineyards.
The Pinot Noir vineyards of Manincor are located in a truly unique position on four, a plateau at 400-450 m asl facing south, where the sun is constantly present and the vines are kept healthy by a constant breeze.
